Summary: Our trip to Poon Hill was very well organized. Dilal took care of us during the trek, and it was clear that he was an experienced guide and mountaineer. :) The most difficult moments came after the trek, when we were returning to Pokhara, where there was unrest. Even in these moments, Tej and Dilal took care of us and got us to safety. Thank you very much!

Summary: This was one of the most unique and memorable trips that we've ever been on. Unfortunately, the Poon Hill views were blocked by the clouds, but we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our time trekking through the Nepalese wilderness. The highlight of our trip was waking up to the epic sunrise views of Annapurna South from Ghandruk. Our guide and porter were especially kind and patient with me - a photographer lugging around a big film camera and constantly stopping to make photos. The company also arranged a one-day city tour of Kathmandu for us, and we were very happy with our guide who expertly tailored our stops and made the most out of the limited time that we had. We're already thinking about our return to Nepal, and we will gladly use Alternative Treks & Expeditions on our next trip!

Summary: Trekking to Poon Hill with Alternative Nepal was a great experience. The sunrise views over the Annapurna ranges were stunning, and the journey through rhododendron forests was refreshing. The team was professional and made the trip smooth and enjoyable.
